Inner City Weightlifting's Trainer & Designer, Nate shares more about his vision behind this collaboration in honor of Mental Health Awareness Month:
Â
This hoodie was created as a symbol of resilience- a reminder that no matter how heavy today feels, it's only one chapter, not the full story.
Some moments feel unbearable, some thoughts overwhelming. But the message behind this design is simple: even your worst days don't define you. They're part of your story, not the whole book.
The thought bubbles represent the constant flow of thoughts in our minds-doubts, fears, hopes, dreams. It's about recognizing the power we have to choose which thoughts we listen to, which ones we allow to shape our path. The goal is to never let the negative or intrusive thoughts win. We choose the positive ones.
We included "Dear Reader Behind me" to connect directly with anyone who's going through something right now. I want you to feel seen. I want you to remember: you're not alone, and this is just a chapter. The story always gets better.
Every purchase supports ICW's mission to amplify the voice and agency of people who have been most impacted by systemic racism and mass incarceration.
